it all seems very cool, but I still don't "get" how it works. I'm with Mic, I just HOPE it doesn't rain "a tuna can's" worth.
pretty simple that way. I have always liked rain gauges though. you know, those cylindrical plastic tubes you stick in the grass or tie/hook onto a railing.
