Well hell yah. I bet a winter in New England can suck in this day and age. Can you imagine the hardships faced back then, wow. I bet that is where the saying colder than a witches tit came from, HA!
When we lived up there the locals were not too hospitable to the Italian family...I reminded them, my ancestors might have been below deck cooking their ancestor's meals...they did not buy it
