...after this pile is burned, my neighbor Bob (remember Bob?) has offered to hitch my John Deere trailer plow (above) to his tractor and turn the ash back into the earth. Then it (the earth) will be disced and then finally groomed with the harrow.
...as I stood over near the plow to photograph the pile at a distance, a strange yet alluring critter walked in front of my camera. An odd creature, possessing only three feet where I am quite certain there should be four, I have nevertheless decided to keep him, and I have decided to name him "Saint Augustine." He has proven to be a fine friend.
