~ I Must Say...

...as I watched the election returns last night in the company of Debe and Nick and Autumn, by a roaring fire on a cool November night, I found myself feeling things that I haven't felt since i was a child...much like the feeling I used to get on Christmas Eve...and then, when it was certain that a new president had been elected, I felt something that can only be called "glee".

Yes, I felt glee.

I feel like we have been living in the middle of a big owie for that last number of years and we now have some Bactine, and things are going to start healing.

...Am I being naive? Am I just a starry-eyed idealist?

"...You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one..."

...The torch has been passed, and WE have it now...

Can I get a witness?

Glee, hope or anticipation……As this county has done so often, we have chosen a change and taken the steps to secure it. Now we wait to see if we have done the right thing. The door is open for President Elect Obama to make the change that he has promised so many times over the last two years. What will come? We don’t know. The only thing that is certain is that this will all happen again in four years…………..

One more thing besides the correction on typo.
I witnessed First Hand at the Hilton Hotel in the Heritage Ballroom ..Peeps of all ages and colors crying and screaming and hugging strangers for a better America. The Celebration spilled into the streets with Cars honking and YES WE CAN echoed thru out the whole Town.
I hope someday they'll join us and the world will live as one.
One day I will get a blog in the meantime thanks.
