...this post is NOT about the windshield.No.
This post is about my new dashboard and wheel.
Notice the wheel.
Notice that it is a ship's wheel instead of the old steering wheel and notice that it (the wheel) is in the center of the boat rather than on the "driver's" side, as was the old set-up.
Good noticing, gang!
The old, grey weatherd dashboard has been replaced with a spankin' new stick of mahogany. The Astoot Bloglodite can see a small piece of the shaft stabilizer behind the dash...
Pay no attention to the sour mash Kentucky straight bourbon highball on the rocks near my starboard gunwale.Quit looking.
Please notice, instead, how my wheel is perfectly aligned north and south in the center.
Thank you.
(At this time I am not accepting comments on my windshield knee braces. Quit beating a dead horse. Sheesh!)

I've always appreciated a good shaft stabilizer. Cheers P-Man!!
Are you going to sand your wood?
I don't see the rabbits Phfrankie, where are the rabbits?
That's a nice wheel, it should ease your weather helm in a gale of Kentucky mash proportions.
Rabbits like to be in front you know.
By moving the wheel, and a nice wheel it is, to the center aren't you now going to be looking right and the center joint instead of aout your nice new window that will be?
Lu: No. My eyes are ABOVE the window.
Mic: you need to drink more beer, THEN you'ss see the rabbits.
Wreggie: I ship my wood to Mic. He looooves to sand.
M2: Of course you do!
Nice wheel. I like that it's centered. I'm OCD about things being balanced like that.
Mee likee
Please to picture you at the helm so EYE can see.
If your eyes will be above the window then what is the point of the window? Not being a smart ass just don't know is all :)
Where's all the gages? A dashboard has GOT to have gages. I don't think you can call it a dashboard if it ain't got gages but I guess YOU could Phfrankie.
yeah, what Lu said.
what'reya gonna stand up the whole way? why would they windshield even have to have glass in it then?
of course that's why steering wheels are on the driver side - otherwise they'd put 'em in the center of cars too wouldn't they?
I'm just sayin...
aaaaaaeeeeh, I'm just bustin your chops.
she's a fine wheel. a real beaut!
I hope the kingpin is set properly, cause that could really mess up a novice at the wheel, you know?
Have you put the shingles on that roof yet? Just thought I'd mention that, you know?
Are you gonna answer all your comments today Phfrankie? Huh?
Mic: yes. no. yes. maybe....then again, maybe not.
