Here's how the deal went down:
Last weekend I was strolling in the Blogoshpere and visited Mic's site.
I noticed a new addition to his blogroll, Cal34. I go there. I search the sidebar of Cal34's blog. I click on the "movies and dvds" thingy. I see for sale at Amazon a number of movies, one of which is "Longitude".
Well, now.
As much as I would love to see any of these videos, I have been yearning to read this book for some time and have been unable to find it and had forgotten all about it 'till just then so I went to my Amazon account and found the book (illustrated edition!), used, for $5.97 plus $3.75 shipping and so I ordered it on Sunday and yesterday it arrived at my house on a rainy day all the way from New York and I've already read half of it.
