This, my friends, is a Chinese Pistache tree.I have selected and will receive four of these trees from the Sacramento Tree Foundation in co-operation with the Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD), free of charge.
I also will receive a large Red Maple tree.
The trees will be delivered tomorrow (in five gallon buckets) along with the stakes and bracing needed. I will plant these trees on the southeast side of Unit B, to provide shade.

FREE TREES?? Are these like Japanese maples, where they're red all the time, or just in the fall? Can't wait to see them!
