...I asked Autumn to play a quarter for me in the slot machine, and it would be MY quarter, and if that quarter hit the jackpot it (the jackpot) would be mine.
I have memories of when I was a child and being at South Shore Lake Tahoe, standing outside of Harrah's watching my mother play the nickel slots, and having asked her to play one special nickel for me.And now my daughter is doing the same.
I didn't win then, and I didn't win now.

Next time give her three quarters so she can play the max and if it hits you'll win BIG! Cheapskate. lol ;-)
Jay is correct if you are not going to play the max, then don't play at all. I played at the MGM Grand but did not put in the max. Bars across the machine but it only paid out if the max bet was placed :(
I don't know if it just our casinos here in PA but you are not allowed to take pictures in the casino. I didn't know that either so I have a picture of Hubs at a slot machine; oh well :)

how could I ever forget you and I in Reno with $4, I had one you had three (but I did have a few food stamps). I begged you to give me a buck so I could play a two dollar table of Black Jack. I was dealt two 5's, I begged you to give me the other two dollars so I could double down. I won! Then we hit 3 $15 Jackpots at the 10 cent Jackpot Only machines all within about 15 minutes. The rest of the night was a whirlwind of gambling, eating, smoking and making the rounds of every casino we could walk to.
At 5AM we hitched a ride in the back of an old beat-up truck heading up to Truckee. We were flat broke but we did have a pack of cigs to get us home.
