the framework of one Phfranklin Q. Bondo.
This X-ray was taken yesterday by my new chiropractor (and hero), Dr. Mata. He was referred to me by Good Woman Susann, and I went onnacounta I was in The Big Pain and needed The Big Relief.
Lordy, did I get relief!
Please let me describe my two hour visit with Dr. Mata:
first he checked my blood pressure, then my reflexes, then a preliminary check of my mobility (twisting, bending, turning, etc.). Then the X-rays (four of 'em). Then into the first of three therapy rooms whereupon I layed down and was given an ultrasound massage with the heat and then exposed to what I termed "One Thousand Crabs" which was some sort of electrical stimulation device that electrified the livin' shit outa my lower back in the interest of stimulating blood flow, etc. It was a remarkable experience and afterward I already felt like a million bucks. Then it was onto another room with a hydro-massage thingy that I layed down on and it felt like my back was being massaged by warm, undulating bubbles of thick, rich caramel.
Sublime.
Then onto the traction table laying face down for some deep vibrating massage and a few spinal adjustments.
But Wait! There's more!!
He adressed the acupressure vortex points on my skull to free up my Chi and stimulate blood flow. He manipulated my legs in such a way as to stretch my hamstrings and lower back muscles.
After that I went into yet another room and layed on this unit that had some kinda roller balls in it covered with soft foam that rolled up and down my spine like the Wheels of Heaven.
Then a discussion of my X-rays.
Pain? Gone.
Joy? Re-instated.
Knowledge of my physiology? Greatly gained.
And if that ain't enough, afterwards I went to Good Woman Susann's place to lay on an ice pad, be served lunch, have a manicure and a pedicure, and some huggin' and a-smoochin'.
I have been truly blessed.
Mercy!

It feel good...when it stops hurting. I know this place. Some kind 'o exercises/therapy too? Gotta build up the supporting muscles?
Did it move? Cheers P-Man!!
sweet weepin jeebus, I could sure use "the treatment" my-own-self.
Exactly like my Chiropractor...the electric thing is the best and I own a portable one called a TENS Machine (Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation)
I also get the ultra-sound treatment and the 'roller' bed treatment and they also have massage therapists!
Glad you are feeling better...
I helped JV explain to you about the "bends" in lapstrake.
