...and watch the evening sun color the face of San Francisco from a table on the water's edge over a cup of coffee and some apple pie...

That really sounds perfect.
Can you imagine taking your own boat from your own dock and leisurely make your way to the Marin County coast on a beautiful Autumn day and watch the people in the restaurants wonder what it must be like to be you? Then you could anchor in a beautiful cove, serve up your own homemade linguine with clam sauce, a bottle of wine and watch the sun color the city from home away from home as you gently rock with the motion of the bay.

I like it! And speaking of apple pie, when me and Swanny were at Apple Hill we had an apple dumpling (ever had one of those?) and it was soooooo good! Now we have to make one!
