~ Got It Bad? ~

So..you think you got it bad?

Try this on for size: Our friends Jimmy and Wendy, who had their motorhome towed away from here last week, and repaired (starter, $519.00), now find themselves at the Mexican border, on the Mexican side, waiting in a two hour line, having to urinate in the worst way, and Wendy is without her I.D. onnacounta she lost her wallet containing said I.D. in the bathroom of a Chevron station before crossing the border yesterday, and didn't find out about it until they were well into Mexico on their way to Rosarita Beach.

So they spent the night at the hotel, and now (12:00 noon) are nearing the border to see just what the hell is going to go down.

So maybe you don't got it so bad...

update:

As of 3:00 this afternoon, the Desperados were in Chula Vista, America, looking for a room to spend the night.

As it turns out, they never even asked for Wendy's name or I.D. at the border, but in a kooky twist of fate, it was Jim who was detained, onnacounta his name is Jim Smith, a very common alias used by the ne're-do-wells of our society. But, after one hour , they were back in the USA and all was well.

They went back to the Chevron where Wendy lost her wallet and found that nobody had turned it in. All gone.

As far as the urination problem, Wendy was allowed to use the restroom but our pal Jimmy had to use a plastic bottle to relieve himself (in the car), and that was a success.

The difference between an ordeal and an adventure...is attitude.

Live bold...
keep your attitude light, and ordeals become adventure.

Live it for the adventure.

one of the things they could be grateful for is walking it thru together rather than having this nightmare be a deal breaker
