2 good 2 pass up.
"It was a dark night...," (actually 6:45AM) and I arrived at the first stop on my paper route on the way in to work.
I saw the stack of papers in front of the mini-mart's locked doors. Visions of the Untouchables flashed in my head of paper boys of old dropping bundled newspapers with great big headlines on 'em on the street corner by the vendor.

I thought, gee, the Chron MUST HAVE a good one this morning of all mornings (the morning after, duh)
I took one.
Halfway back to my car I said, awww WTF, and got enough quarters to pay for the thing out of my dashboard change thingy, and put them under the third paper from the top. It's "worth that" (and more) I said to myself!
