~ Gertrude And Garry ~

It's the birthday of Gertrude Stein (February 3, 1874 – July 27, 1946), an American writer and thinker who spent most of her life in France.

She was well known for her writing, her art collection, and the many people (some of whom were, or became, famous, such as Alice B. Toklas) who visited her Paris salon.

...and...

It's also the birthday of Garry (Eyeball McGillicuddy) Spanikopita, born 1962 in Alamagordo, New Mexico.

Garry used to use Crayola Crayons to color his arm to match his eyes, but in 1987 he chose to "ink-up", and since then has had measured success with various employers, among them being Ringling Bros., Barnum and Bailey, and his latest gig as the "Human Artwork" at Round Table Pizza.
