Toddle off one mid-December day to the town of Maritnez, nestled in a crook on the Carquinez Straight; go to Luigi's Deli and score a Italian sandwich on seeded sourdough bread, and be sure to have the razor thin red onions on it...
Go there with a hip, good-lookin' broad...
Enjoy your sandwich on a bench at the water's edge...
...and when you head out of town be sure to stop at Alhambra High School when the umpires are having a clinic so you can hear the crack of horsehide on wood in the blistering sunshine less than ten days 'till Christmas!
