I do not like the appliance know as the dishwasher unless you are using it to drip dry your hand washed dishes :)

ditto Lu, and I have found that I can actually skip the whole wash and rinse cycles and go straight to DRY only for my drip-drying bunch. Sometimes that's fun; especially when water starts to collect in the bottom from all the drip-drying...that can't be good.
