Tuesday

~ The Client ~

***UPDATE!!***(see below)...and so Phfritzie had a client over for a haircut and she (the client) saw my chair and she (the client) was told (by Phfrit) that I was making a bench and she (the client) came over to my shop and saw that I was in fact making a bench and she (the client) promptly ordered one (a bench).

So I told her (she, the client) it would be...oh, $150.00 I suppose, and she (the same lady) thought that was swell and so now she (Phfrit's aforementioned client) is
 MY client.

I'm in business!

I'm a bidness man!!

WTF?!?!

Well, I
thought I was a Bidness Man.
But Sweet Jesus, it happened again!

Phfritzie had
another client over on Tuesday and she (the client) strolls over to my shop and  says,

"I'd like two chairs AND a bench, please."

I told her that the chairs are $150.00 and the bench is $175.00 and she said "Fine."

WTF?!?!

Now Hiring. Inquire Within.

Would you please make my bench, two chairs and a table out of teak and all stainless steel fasteners?

But wait a minute you charged the first women $150. for the bench and now $175 to the second lady. How do you know these ladies wont talk... No problem you simply be honest and say you had not planned on selling them. You were taken by suprice but further consideration upped the selling price.

Might want to make up a price list to accurately figure your cost for time and materials with adequate profit mark up. Figuring of course that you don't really want to be in business and the price should maybe compensate you for that. This could snoball on you fella. Soon you'll have to expand. Build a bigger shop. Move your factory to Mexico.

To bad he lives so far away I bet Ron would be one hell of a wood crafter for you.

I believe that I asked for my teak set before Ken did and I want brass fittings on mine. Soon you'll have to hire a retired Pile Driver to help you in the shop.

Is Phritzy getting a commission out of this??
