My Ol' Sack o' Spuds is starting to lose the strength in his rear leg. It is only a matter of time now.
So I decided to build him a wheelchair. Google 'dog wheelchair' and you'll see hundreds of styles. I looked at them all and came up with this. I had everything but two 90's here at The Shack so it came together rather quickly. Phfritzie contributed the canvas tote bag and Autumn helped design the sling.
There were two seperate fittings done, and adjustments made, until I finalized it. The two straps in front serve as a shoulder yoke and chest strap. The 10" wheels are from my grandfather's outdoor mobile cook stove.
This is gonna work. You would be seeing him in it 'cept he was cranky and not in the mood to model.

Yep, that'll take a load off those tired old legs.

good job. nice collaborative effort.
Nice spud wagon. Cool when you have almost all the stuff to build something, huh?
Oh, and I'd like you clean under your bench after you send me to two blocks hanging on the wall to the left of the stained glass.
You are such a good doggie daddy. It looks to me like it would be rather tall for him but as I am not there and you are I'm going to assume that is not the case.
Way to create my Brother; carry on.
Ken: Come and git 'em.
