Why my redwood tree is better than your redwood tree:
Because you don't HAVE a redwood tree.
Because you will probably not be getting a redwood tree any time in the foreseeable future.
Because my redwood tree is bigger than the one that you probably won't be getting.
Because my redwood tree is a Sequoia Sempervirens, the Coast Redwood.
Because my redwood tree was free, as opposed to the exorbitant fee you will pay for the redwood tree that you in all likelyhood will not be getting.
Because Al Gore may sit one day under my redwood tree, and invent something.
Because little birds and big birds alike sit in my redwood tree and sing me sweet songs of love and joy.
Because I don't have to do one single solitary thing in order to enjoy my redwood tree....it simply exists to entertain me.
Because Van Morrison wrote the song Redwood Tree, on the Saint Dominic's Preview album from 1973, about MY redwood tree, and I know that is true because I believe it.
