The guts of my rototiller's transmission. Bronze worm gears whittled to nubs and fine edges. Not good. Rebuild kit runs $500.00.

Oh, I am sad.

Fun,fun, fun. And I mean that. Go to the roto-tiller graveyard and dig up a cadaver, cost you maybe $50. Ha!

You know, you might want to shop around on the net. Takeout the bearings,a car parts store or tractor supply might sell them separately, same for the gears etc.
Don't be sad!

Bummer but what Ken said makes lots of scense. We have folks come in here all the time to get belts for yard equipment. We aren't a yard equipment store but we can get most the belts and sell them much cheaper. They part out the pieces needed for repair and get "automotive" parts that do the same job.

Looks like automotive hell, I'd be sad too. I'd want to drink more beer so I could get sadder.

I'm with Bruno... There was only one beer in all the photos. One WD-40 is all that's needed, but one beer won't git 'er done.

And those bronze worms should go out in the garden when you are done with them... I heard worms are good.
