Just before noon yesterday I noticed something unusual on Schneider's left side.
On closer inspection I saw a gaping hole about an inch long and a half inch wide.
He appeared to be in no pain.
Off the the vet we go, about six miles away, in Franklin.
The vet checks it out and sees that it is not a flesh wound, as I thought it was, but rather a ruptured cyst. Schneider has had a rather large lump on him for some time, and that was it.
The cyst was cut out and he was sewed up and we were both home watching the Niners slaughter the Packers by six o'clock.
He's Daddy's Little Soldier.
Stitches come out in two weeks. Prognosis is for full recovery.He's doing phfine as of this writing.

Go Shcneider, go. Deffinatly a day to give the boy something extra, mabey a trip to Donnies for some 99 cent love bisquits.

Maybe hang with that Rasta dog and do some fatties at the beach.
Also...never EVER ignore lumps, unless they're in your smashed potatoes. In THAT case, enjoy!
