I Will Say Some Good Things About Baseball:

It is at once a team game and a contest of man to man.

Baseball parks are as beautiful as anything mortals can make.

It is a game of numbers; it is a game of words.

There is wood. There is leather. There is chalk. There is rosin. There is dirt and grass.

There is no clock, other than starting time.

Everything can be divided by 9.

Hotdogs.

Grown men play a game and make millions. Who would not aspire to this?

In a world filled with Putin, politics and pollution, three hours of escapism is a good thing.

Willy Mays, Buster Posey and Bye Bye Balboni.

It is good to stretch, seventh inning or otherwise.

Peanuts.

"The pitch to Sandoval.... Swing...and it's belted to right... Going back is Woodson...This. Ball. Is. OUTTA here!!!!"
