Salamanders sing on high
Of visions lost
And times gone by.
Banana slugs do not do this;
They do not pine
For things they've missed.
So of the two
I ask of you:
Which would you be,
What would you do?

I would sing on high. Or buzzed.
I'd ask an orangutan which way the wind was blowing.
banana slugs are devils spawn, tis much better to sing on high
fore salt in the morning dawn
makes the slug weep an cry.
salamander 'cause can't you see
it is my past that fuels my revelry.
singing keeps my focus
on the thing that I want the most.
slugs are, well, slugs
and although they be quite mellow;
the only quality I would covet,
is the fact that they are
YELLOW.
The End.
