I would guess, Mingos, it is because they (the powers that be at Blogger) have removed the "Name" option and the "Anonymous"option. So, yeah, if you don't have a Google account, I would guess you can't. Even I don't even understand how they expect anybody to use the "OpenID" option so... it doesn't look good.
If you want a pity party with your name on the letterhead, then by all means let me call Sherman, Trace, the Duke and maybe we could rustle up Pinky too, to join the party.
