When entering San Francisco from the east, over the Bay Bridge, one must pay a toll.

The way it works is, the toll is six bucks until 10:00 AM, then it turns to four bucks.

Our conversation upon approaching the tollbooth went something like this:

"Dearest God I hope we make it!"
"Slow down, Phfrankie! Go slow!"
"I'm trying, Phfritzie! I'm going not even ONE mile an hour!"
"Are we gonna make it?!"
"We're so fricking close! We need to go slower!"
"Get the camera, Phfritzie! Take a picture!"
"We're gonna do it!"
"We win!!!"
"Two bucks!!"
"Two bucks!!"
"We did it!!"
