Fort Yea Grub:


Rice.

Onion.

Garlic.

Salt.

Pepper.

Cook over open fire.

Have for Thanksgiving.

One of my favorite dinners for the short time I lived alone (swapping the garlic for butter of course).

I remember the menu got down to...

White rice cooked until done...
Add one 1/16th or so of a Spanish rice flavor package...
simmer over low coals...

Served as is, breakfast, lunch and dinner. We didn't want to leave the mountains and had absolutely NOTHING else to eat. We still had tea I believe and game birds were VERY scarce!
