Maybe a can of tuna or corn.
All I know is: Nothing tasted better.
Are you sure we had garlic?
There had to be tuna!
I don't go anywhere without garlic.
(well...it sounds good anyway!)
You never posted the menu until now. I was wondering if you stalked a game bird or something.
no possum? I sure Ken could have run down a possum for the pot.
One of my favorite dinners for the short time I lived alone (swapping the garlic for butter of course).
I remember the menu got down to...
White rice cooked until done...
Add one 1/16th or so of a Spanish rice flavor package...
simmer over low coals...
Served as is, breakfast, lunch and dinner. We didn't want to leave the mountains and had absolutely NOTHING else to eat. We still had tea I believe and game birds were VERY scarce!
